Overview
Since FL Studio cannot be used on the N72, I end up using SampleTron 2 on the T552 via Remote Desktop. I'm not actually doing serious composition work, so I'm not really using it to its full potential, but in any case I’m working remotely. The sound is also more comfortable to handle on the N72.
When I play guitar, however, latency becomes an issue, so I connect directly. Even then there is still a slight latency, though it’s very small. I don’t really mind it.
So I use SampleTron 2 remotely, but the screen does not appear. I wondered why. At first I thought it might be related to things like hardware graphics acceleration or encryption issues.
When I launched the application through Remote Desktop and the screen turned completely black, I tried reconnecting the Remote Desktop session. After reconnecting, the AmpliTube 5 screen appeared, but SampleTron 2 still did not show up.
It seems to be a problem that only occurs when using Remote Desktop, because when I operate the machine directly, the screen displays normally without any issues.
It would be nice if I could investigate the cause more precisely, but that’s probably difficult. Since I found a way to use it anyway, that’s good enough for me.
