Signature Collections Vol1 €149.99 / TONEX Anniversary Edition ~~€99~~ are not eligible as gifts. Even if you purchase TONEX MAX, it seems that the Signature Collection is not included. Hmm. This is one of the valuable benefits you can obtain by participating in this group buy.

There are 13 products, and four of them are not even bundled with TOTAL STUDIO 5 MAX. Buying those four separately would cost €376.99. These are items that can only be obtained through the Group Buy. Definitely worth keeping.

Selecting TONEX Upgrade or TONEX SE feels like stepping on a landmine. Maybe it is some kind of experiment. Perhaps they want to see if someone will choose something strange without understanding it.

If you want TONEX MAX, you actually need to purchase TONEX MAX Upgrade (€199.99), so that seems like the necessary one. Why isn’t it included in the gift list? That seems a bit mean.

It would be surprising if downloading it turned out to be the TONEX MAX Upgrade. Since €149.99 corresponds to TONEX Upgrade, the naming suggests it is not MAX. Surely not… right?

Postscript: Ah, I didn't notice this because I qualified for all gifts with the €299 tier, but if you purchase a cheaper product, you must select gifts within that allowed range. So these options exist for cases like that. I see, I see. In some cases, you may need to collect individual items separately.

The Resonator (←Included in SampleTank4 Max but no gift display for the sound library) / The Resonator added in TOTAL STUDIO MAX 4 / Bionic Drums / Mojo Synthesis (Alien Harbours / Mojo Synthesis:CircuitDamage / Ring of Doom / Swarm / Vector Vision) did not appear in the gift list (products that are not sold individually; Bionic and Mojo were also excluded from TOTAL STUDIO 5 MAX). I misunderstood. Since the SampleTank 4 MAX list contained all sound sources, I took it at face value, but sound libraries seem to be expanded individually, so they are not synchronized with the MAX list and instead just show something like “these are the currently available ones.”

Currently, there are 11 products I do not own, so that’s not enough. Even if ARC X and T-RackS 6 Pro were canceled, there would only be 6 products left, so we would still be short by 5 products. Ah, but if I buy T-RackS 6 Pro it can reduce by 4 products. That means +1 and then −4, so −3 overall, leaving only 2 products short.

Anyway, if you try to collect even the sound libraries, nothing really beats TOTAL STUDIO 5 MAX. The Resonator ~~/Bionic Drums/Mojo Synthesis (Alien Harbours / Mojo Synthesis:CircuitDamage / Ring of Doom / Swarm / Vector Vision)~~ cannot be obtained as gifts either.

Well, the administrator does not really use sound libraries, so it does not matter much whether they are included or not. If I can get MODO BASS and MODO DRUM, that already satisfies my needs. It turned out to be a good Group Buy, costing even less than €99. If there are things I want in TOTAL STUDIO 6 MAX or later, I may participate again.

It has become very close to a nearly complete collection. Excellent. For users with TOTAL STUDIO 3.5 MAX, this Group Buy may have been used to its maximum potential.

In the end, after making various corrections, starting from the SampleTank 4 MAX included in TOTAL STUDIO 3.5 MAX, only 4 products were missing. So with 39 products, it reached this level. Maybe I should download ARC X as well. That would make 40 products. I wonder what would be the most efficient use of the remaining 6 gifts. I should probably get products that are useful to own multiple licenses of. Maybe the number will increase further (sweat). There are still 8 days left, so anything could happen.

Postscript: Eventually it reached 40,000 participants, resulting in 49 gift products. What should I use the remaining 9 for? The download deadline is said to be 30 days after the campaign ends, but on the promotion page the expiration date shows 10/31. I’m not sure which is correct. If I complain saying “it said 30 days after the end,” it will probably end up being 30 days after the campaign anyway, so I might as well calmly think about what to choose among the items I don’t need. Maybe some information somewhere will say which ones are the best value. I’ll set a download deadline alarm for 11/30 or the day before.

Postscript: THE Resonator was added. Glad I waited. I downloaded it. I also downloaded The Farm Stone Room Studio Reverb. Since opening T-RackS 5 will allow all of them to be used, it may improve usability. If T-RackS 5 has UI advantages (for example being lighter), it would be good to have them. Just in case. I haven’t used T-RackS 6 enough yet, so it’s still unknown. The rest requires careful consideration.

Maybe I should take three each of TONEX and AmpliTube5, so I could build an environment that is easy to move around when necessary. That might be a good idea. Another option is two TONEX plus MODO DRUM and MODO BASE. Hard to decide.

There are reports on some channels saying the $30 AmpliTube option seems to have been closed, and now a new method has appeared where SampleTank for $19 is treated as €199. The situation has become quite chaotic here near the end. Also, the IK website has become extremely difficult to connect to. Occasionally it works, so it’s not completely inaccessible. With about 10 minutes, you can usually manage to complete at least one action.
