概要
TONEXをインストールしておく必要がありますが、Amplitube5とTONEXは連動します。以下の図のようにSTOMPとして読み込むことができます。TONEXにはSTOMPとしての役割とアンプとしての役割の二つがありますので、それぞれが分かれています。
TONEX STMOPは歪み系のモデリングができるので、歪みの要素が詰め込まれます。TOPページでも触れましたが、TONEXは時間系の音響効果は表現できません。技術的な問題のようですが管理人にはわかりません。時間系の音響効果もモデリングできるように今頃はIKでは仕組みの発案や開発がなされているのではないかと思います。歪み系はその深さによってOverDrive、Distortion、Fuzzと分類されています。
TONEX アンプはモデリング時に要素の含め方を選べて、STOMP＋アンプ＋キャビネット。アンプ＋キャビネット。アンプ。キャビネット。のように変えることが出来ます。
このTONEXギアだけは、画面の構成が豊富で、TONEXの全ての操作を盛り込んだような内容になっていますので、全部は紹介しきれないと思いますが、軽く触れておきたいと思います。Amplitube5で、TONEXが読み込めるようになっているくらいなので、TONEXには足りない部分があることをIK Multimediaも感じているということだと思います。
上の図のとおり、簡単に操作できるノブとして、GAIN(歪み量)、BASS(低音域量)、MID(中音域量)、TREBLE(高音域量)、VOLUME(音量)があります。読み込むTONEXのモデルによっては、もっと違う形の簡単操作ノブしかありません。種類はペダル数だけあるのでTONEX MAXを所有している場合はペダルの種類だけで50もあります。どのペダルにも TONEX というロゴがあるだけで、何が違うのかはわかりづらいです。
