Overview
This is a sampler application specialized for controlling synthesizer sound sources. It can load samples with a structure similar to SampleTank. The format appears to be the same as SampleTank 3.
The default directory for placing samples is
C:\User\Public\IK Multimedia\SampleTank 3.
Even after moving it, the program would not load samples unless the specified directory ended with a folder named “SampleTank 3”, such as (FooBar)\SampleTank 3.
The SYN2_<model name> sound libraries are files intended for the SampleTank 4 format. However, the Sample folder inside them is empty, so you must copy the Sample folder from the version without “SYN” in the name.
The SYN2_<model name> libraries can then be loaded and used in SampleTank 4, allowing you to take advantage of SampleTank 4’s powerful sound engine.
