• Microphones: Recorded using DPA (close) + Schoeps (mid-distance) microphones, etc.
• Meaning: Y = Yamaha series, F3 = suggests CFⅢ

Royal Upright Y5→

• Original model: Yamaha U5 Upright Piano
• Type: Upright piano
• Recording: IK Multimedia headquarters studio (Modena, Italy)
• Microphones: AKG C414 (close) + DPA microphone (rear)
• Sampling: Deep multisampling using robotic performance
• Meaning: Y → Yamaha series, 5 → suggests U5, Royal Upright → large high-end upright

NY Grand S274→

• Original model: Steinway & Sons New York D-274 Concert Grand Piano
• Size: 9-foot (approx. 274 cm) full concert grand

• Method: Deep multisampling using robotic performance

• Meaning: Liberty refers to the Statue of Liberty, evoking New York and indicating the Steinway headquarters. Upright refers to the vertical piano style.
• Fine-tuned → pitch micro-adjustment / hammer voicing-style EQ / noise adjustment / resonance balance adjustment

Liberty_Upright_Relic→

• Type: Professional upright
• Height: Approx. 52 inches (about 132 cm)
• Meaning: Liberty refers to the Statue of Liberty, evoking New York and indicating the Steinway headquarters. Upright refers to the vertical piano style.
• Relic (aged / vintage style) → subtle tuning drift / degraded hammer attack / added resonance or mechanical noise / slightly dull high-frequency tone / uneven sustain

Grand Piano Y7→

• Size: Approx. 227 cm (semi-concert grand)
• Recording: Fonoprint Studios, a studio converted from a 15th-century monastery
• Meaning: Y → YAMAHA, 7 → the “7” from C7

Black Pearl B200→

• Original model: Bösendorfer 214VC Vienna Concert
• Manufacturer: Bösendorfer
• Size: Approx. 214 cm (7-foot) concert grand
• Recording: Fonoprint Studios, a studio converted from a 15th-century monastery
• Meaning: Black/B → Bösendorfer, 200 → approx. 200 cm class, contrast with Diamond and Pearl

　The Pianoverse sound libraries are divided into 140 files in total. Downloading them manually can be quite difficult, so I created a tool called IKDL IK SoundLibAutoDL(en)

It costs 154 yen, but if you need it, feel free to try it. If you attempt to download everything manually, it may require staying up all night starting in the morning just to complete the process.

If you use this tool and run it only during the night, the downloads will finish within about two nights while you sleep.

However, developing the tool took three months, so it would be nice if around 45 people used it for the effort to feel worthwhile. Otherwise, this might have turned into a completely unprofitable project.
