Overview
When you launch SampleTank through Remote Desktop, it crashes. So the workaround is to start it directly on the machine itself first, and once it becomes stable, access it via Remote Desktop. With this approach, it can be used. When doing actual work, using it this way should be fine. It’s inconvenient, but if you insist on working remotely, this strategy allows you to keep using it. If the PC you are controlling remotely has higher processing power, then it may simply be unavoidable.
Why does it crash, though? Does it dislike being used over Remote Desktop? Maybe when I have some free time I’ll try asking IK’s support directly. I should probably check all the applications that came with TOTALMAX first. Sorry in advance to the support staff who will have to deal with me. But hey, it’s for the good of the world. I like to think I’m doing a good thing… or maybe it’s just simple mischief. 😄
